Profhilo is a hybrid hyaluronic acid (natural molecule found within the human body) bio-remodelling injection designed to hydrate tissues and stimulate four types of collagen and elastin production. It works deeper than traditional fillers, improving skin quality without adding volume. Profile uses NAHYCO technology to obtain very high concentrations of hyaluronic acid making it a stable, chemical unmodified third generation of HA.
Profhilo not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. It is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages. Profhilo is proven to improve skin laxity and firmness, refine fine lines through tissue restructuring and increase the overall hydration of the skin. Over time, you’ll notice improved skin integrity—suitable for areas like cheeks, neck, and décolletage.
Most patient's notice a slight smoothing and glow within 2 weeks; full bio-remodelling benefits emerge about 4 weeks post-treatment. Typically, two sessions spaced one month apart are recommended, with effects lasting up to 6 months. Whilst initial treatments with profhilo may give a good boost, skin restructuring takes time and commitment. For maximum results we do recommend that our patient's continue with profhilo long term.
A topical numbing cream is always applied to the skin. There may be minimal to moderate discomfort at the injection site — this is short lived and usually tolerated very well.
